April 25th, 2026
I traveled to Italy for a week devoted entirely to painting, free from daily distractions. Surrounded by fellow artists, I explored abstraction, working quickly and intuitively with new materials. As I layered marks, unexpected figures began to emerge—bunnies, bears, bees, and playful forms coming to life through color and movement. What felt accidental became a new artistic voice. I returned home with these characters, which now continue to grow in my work, turning my paintings into imaginative, living landscapes. RVSP here.
